Aegina Olive Grove - Oliveraie d’Egine - Ελαιώνας Αιγίνης
If only I was not scared to meet a snake,
I would had tasted the joy of rolling on this grass.
Flowers would seem taller, and butterflies could afford to carry the weight of my endless thoughts away.
But here I am, standing tall, facing this old olive tree.
I am meeting my roots while speaking with my ancestors.
I think that an insect is climbing on my leg. I haven't decided yet if it's worth it to bow for it. I Inhale all the Mediterranean fragrances until I can guess their colours.
I feel the warmth of a hand enveloping mine. I can hear the pulse of a heart. I waited for the sun to appear, until I realise that the ground has absorbed it...and each one of my cells has been fed with it's light, so I can be someone's moon, and be loved through all my phases.
